Creating
Caring Congregations

Welcome!

I believe every congregation is filled with compassionate people who want to help others who are hurting, but they are hesitant because they feel inadequate to do so. Let’s fix that! I established Synerjy as an equipping and empowering resource, preparing God’s people to be instruments of blessing for those going through the hard places in life. Imagine the impact…your congregation equipped to care for others with confidence and compassion!

Features / 01

“Extend Your Reach: How to Better Love Your Neighbor” will provide you and your congregation with practical skills to walk confidently with those challenged by life’s most difficult moments.

You and your team will learn effective ways to respond and support those going through the time-sensitive experience of crisis.

Whether it is an anticipated or unexpected death, a new diagnosis of a life-limiting illness, a job loss, or a divorce – everyone experiences grief. Responding well in these critical moments is a vitally important ministry and will be long remembered.

About

Equipping the Church to care with excellence and compassion

After serving twelve years as a local church pastor, I entered full-time ministry as a professional healthcare chaplain in 1993. My thirty-year career in healthcare included specialized training to support children and their families confronted by terminal illness. I served as the Director of Pastoral Care/Chaplain for two health systems. I retired from the healthcare ministry in 2023 after having completed eighteen years at Parrish Medical Center in Titusville, FL.
During my career, I offered support to thousands of patients and their families from a wide variety of backgrounds and circumstances. I provided spiritual support to hospital personnel and trained hundreds of lay and clergy volunteers to minister in the acute care setting of a modern hospital.
